I grew up listening to 107.3 as a kid, waking up to Jack & Bert and listening to Loo Katz after school. “I want to work there, Dad!” I said one day. On my birthday when I was 10 years old, I got a card signed by everyone who worked at 107.3… I was sold.
Now… I get to sign those birthday cards for you! I interned here summers attending Ithaca College in upstate New York. After a trip around the block after school, I came back to the DC area.
I grew up in Bethesda, and live there now. I enjoy cooking (grilling, particularly – I’m a sucker for anything grilled on the Food Network, and Monkeysee.com) and craft beer and wines. I grew up a boater… so any free time I have, you’ll find me afloat somewhere in the Chesapeake Bay. I’m also a volunteer firefighter, and plan to become an EMT at some point soon.
I’m a big fan of music out of the ’80s – Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, REM, and of course my long lost brothers, Duran Duran, to name a few! It goes without saying that I LOVE the music we play at 107.3, otherwise I wouldn’t work here! Coldplay, Maroon 5, Adele, Dave Matthews, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty…you name it and I’ll crank up the radio.
On TV – and yes, I am a male, with man-card safely packed in my wallet – I watch Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Master Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, among others… and that’s when I’m not watching the Washington Nationals or New York Giants!
