Are there specific rules to contests, such as age restrictions, and how often you can win something, etc?

Where can I pick up the prize that I won?

After you have been called by a member of the mix107.3 promotions department to let you know your prize is available, you can pick up your prize!

DC?!?! I don’t drive to D.C. Who drives to D.C.?!

Good news! We’re located in “D.C.” Our address is Washington, D.C., but it’s not even 1 mile over the MD/D.C. border. It’s more like Chevy Chase. We’re located right next to Mazza Gallerie.

I still don’t drive to D.C.  Is 107.3 Metro accessible?

What do I do once I get to the building?

Walk into the doors on 44th street. Take the elevator up to the 4th floor, and tell the person at the front desk you’re there to pick up a prize from mix107.3.  You MUST have a valid photo ID to claim your prize.

What are your office hours?

Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm.

Closed on most federal holidays, and frequently closed early on the Friday before a holiday weekend (i.e. Memorial Day or Labor Day) or on the day before a holiday (i.e. July 3 if 4th of July falls in the middle of the week).

Closed on days of inclement weather.

It’s best to call ahead to the main desk to check to see if the offices are open and prizes are available for pick up.  Call 202-686-3091.

Can I pick up my prize on the weekend?

Unfortunately, prizes are not available for pick up on the weekends.

My business hours conflict with your business hours.  What should I do?

We are aware of the fact that most people’s business hours might conflict with the 107.3 business hours.  Our business hours are your business hours…makes sense, right? 🙂

We do our best to make it as convenient as possible for our listeners and prize winners.  We recommend that you come during your lunch hour, before work, or after work.  If these options are not available to you, we do offer additional options for SOME of the prizes that are won on 107.3.  (Please see additional information directly below).

Can you mail my prize?

Generally, no. There is risk in sending prizes in the mail, so we encourage you to personally pick it up if you want to be sure to receive it.  If you want it mailed, you need to contact us to let us know.

We will inform you that Cumulus Media/WRQX/107.3 cannot be held responsible for prizes not received by mail. Once it leaves the building, the prize is no longer in our control. Bulky/larger prizes (generally, anything more than concert tickets) cannot be mailed.

Prizes of a larger value will require us to have you sign a release form accepting our mailing policy.

There’s no way I can make it in to pick up my prize, but I really want it. Can someone else pick it up for me?

In some cases, yes, but this option is not always available.

You need to call Andrea Siegel, 107.3 Marketing Director, at 202-895-2392 to make sure this option is available.  Please provide us with your name, date of birth, and the prize you won, and then release it to the person you want to pick it up. We’ll need their name and date of birth. Then, they can pick up the prize with their photo ID.

When is it required that the winner pick up their own prize?

We cannot mail or fax paperwork for a company check.  If you’ve won “cash” through the station, it will most likely be awarded in the form of a company check.  In this instance, the winner must come down to the station, in person, during the 107.3 business hours to fill out paperwork.

Additional instances in which a prizewinner is required to appear in person to claim their prize do exist, including, but not limited to, when a prize value exceeds a certain amount of money.

How long do I have to pick up my prize?

You have 30 days from the day you’ve been called (not from the day you won) to let you know it’s available to pick up.

Note: There are some cases where you have less than 30 days to pick up a prize—say we’ve called you telling you your concert tickets are in, and the show is 2 weeks away. That’s the time you have to pick it up (because…If you wait 30 days, you’ll miss the show!). After 30 days, your prize is automatically forfeited.

I won a prize on 107.3, and someone from the promotions department told me the prize “wasn’t in yet” and that I would be called as soon as I could pick it up. It’s been a few weeks (if not more) and I haven’t heard anything. What should I do?

Please know the promotions staff at 107.3 is very particular when it comes to ensuring prizes are delivered. Some prizes (concert tickets, especially) do take several weeks, even a few months, to come into the radio station. Concert tickets can come into the station as late as up to a week before a concert (it fully depends on the box office, venue, and record labels as to when the tickets are sent to use to give to you).  As soon as they arrive, you will be called to come pick them up.

I won cash that is coming in the form of a company check.  I filled out my paperwork for the check, do I need to come back down to the station to pick it up?  When will I receive it?

Typically, checks take 6-8 weeks to be processed, and will be mailed to the winner’s address that is provided at the time they filled out their paperwork.  If you have not received the check within 8 weeks from the date you came down to the station to fill out paperwork, please call Andrea Siegel, 107.3 Marketing Director, at 202-895-2392.
