Hispanic Heritage Month Events

The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. September 22, 2018.

Kids and Families are welcome at this event, featuring dance performances that are found in Native artistic traditions across the world.  Dances from Bolivia to Mexico will be featured.  Traditional and contemporary ceramic mask making is also on the agenda.  Find out more HERE.

ZooFiesta at The National Zoo.  September 23, 2018.

Live music and educational events, focusing on conservation in Central and Sound America will be taking place at the National Zoo.  Demonstrations presented by zookeepers with some of your kid’s favorite animals including, sloths, Andean bears, and more!  Find out more HERE.
